What a day...

Have been feeling sick all day. The only upside is that it isn't morningsickness ;)
Am still feeling sick and have a soar throat... A little selfpity is always good.

Anyway, work is ok - am still quite on top of the situation. I guess I don't get it yet... that I'm actually leaving. For the first time in my life I will have absolutely nothing to do. What a thought! If I would be abducted on Saturday night...noone would know on Monday morning since no one would miss me... I wonder what that'll be like.
(Watching Scrubs - love that show :) Zach Braff has the most amazing lips actually...and he is funny to. Do watch Garden State if you have to opportunity)

So, about my pathetic love life... what to do?!?!
Sis thinks J and I are perfect together and she has told me not to let him go.
H thinks he isn't "good enough for me" (her words not mine) and he doesn't treat me in a very nice way.
And me, what do I think...
On the one hand: he is great, he has almost everything I ever wanted in a man, we do have fun together most of the time. Once, when I really needed him he was there for me.
The downside is that I feel like he is looking for something else ie I'm not his type.

I hope we can stay friends. I guess we won't be going to Barcelona... Oh speaking of Barcelona. H&O are going. She said the meanest things about O last time I saw her. I can't believe that he puts up with all the crap. He totally deserves better... Because he is a really nice guy. Speaking of nice guys G is so funny. He ran Lidingoloppet on Saturday, and then we went out for drinks. He insisted on drinking beer even if he'd rather had cocktails - strange but fun...
I'll go to Barca some other time :)

So, what shall I do?!?! Last time I spoke to him...or well I sent a message but I felt quite good about having the guts to do it. So maybe I'll just risk making a total fool of myself and tell him how I feel about it...

I'll sleep on it and decide tomorrow - in a very Gone with the Wind-kind of way :)

Take care

Love don't live here anymore

Can't even begin to tell you about the date I had on Friday... He was sweet, kind and oh so dull!!!
Sent an SOS text mess to J, but what is it about men... They don't get it, do they. He was supposed to come to my rescue but oh no he was at home playing a videogame or whatever. So I suffered... Don't mean to bash the guy but he is not my man so to speak...

Got home quite early and off to bed.
Spent most of Saturday in front of SATC, managed however to get my laundry done...
Then into the bathroom to do girl's stuff and get beautiful for the M&P-party. Meet up with J and H at Storstad for some drinks and then off to the party. H and I left early due to some...Unexpected company I wasn't to keen on...
Met G and his cousin at Sturehof for a few drinks (mostly vodkalime). I have a new theory: if I stick to the same type of alcohol I don't get as hungovered... Let me tell you: it's not working;)
At least not with vodka. Next time I'll go for champagne instead.

Today was the big familyday:mum and dad have been married for 40 years and this was celebrated with MammaMia - the musical and dinner at Pontus. Very nice. Actually managed to spend an entire evening with my mum and not get into a fight or some twisted teenage sulking. Maybe I'm growing up?!?!

Have been tearing myself up about J lately. I have so much going on right now that I really need his support but on the other hand I can't stand the fact that he is seeing someone else. I do believe I'm as close to being in love as I have ever been... Need to talk about this soon but not yet. On the one hand the best thing for me would be to not talk to him or even see him at all until I'm over totally over him but I don't want to do that. He is so kind, nicer to me than I deserve, and supportive and just great...I need him in my life. He means a lot to me and I want him as my friend. Maybe we need to really "break up" before we can start over as friends. The greatest thing would be to go to Barcelona, have a fab weekend with shopping and laughing and good wine and good food and then end it there and then. This way we could end it in a good place and I'll remember him fondly. BS but I'll try to believe in it.

I'll call him tomorrow...Maybe... Possibly if I can find the strength to do it.

Take care

A quiet day

today. It's official: I'm leaving! It feels pretty sad actually. Having a job gives you a certain sense of security.
Applied for the other job today. Sis wrote a great application for me and I sent it today - keep my fingers crossed...

If that doesn't work out I'll look into working in Paris for a while. I mean if I survived Nykoping - Paris can't be that bad....
J called me back today. Didn't tell him about it. I don't want to bother him with my problems but he is incredibly sweet to me. On the upside: I'm now free for a trip to Barcelona whenever. On the downside: no money...
Maybe I'll tell him later...

I actually have a date tomorrow with a guy from SD. Might be fun but I'll have sis as a plan B incase he turns out to be a drag. We are meeting for a drink at 8.
At work everyone is really nice to me. T, K and I had lunch today. T is really funny, he tells all these crazy stories from when he was living in Gotland.
I didn't really get that much done today, didn't seem like anyone else did either.

Tomorrow I get paid so I'm going to look for a new pair of boots for the winterseason. God, there are so many cool clothes out there now and I need to go shopping....

Sunday the family are going to watch MammaMia - the Abba musical and then dinner at Pontus by the Sea - can be nice. And in two week sis and me are going to see Saturday Night Fever starring lovely Andreas from Alcazar :)

Anyway, take care!

Losing my

...job. My employment will end in one month which feels kinda sad. I thought I would at least get until this summer to find a new job. Felt sad today and called j but he didn't have time to talk. I probably shouldn't lay this on him, it's not really his problem.

Found this really great job I'm applying for today. Sis is helping me write the application.

On the plus side: went by NK to pick up some make up to cheer myself up today and as I walked through Kungsan this really go looking guy came up to me and asked me out :) He is from Jamaica, it's not a very Swedish thing to just walk up to someone on the street and ask them out. Haven't decided if I'm going or not yet.
Am meeting some friends on Friday a bit later for drinks - will be fun. And on Saturday it's Maria's and Peter's party - the theme is RED so I'll be wearing my red dress. I do believe I look a bit like a prostitute in red but what the hell... I know most people who are going.

At work I rule :) I have most of everything under control now which feels good. I will leave everything in order. I don't know who will be taking over after me, supposedly someone in Gothenburg. I'll be getting that information later.
I hope I do get to go to the Finish ceremony in Gothenburg... Oh well, maybe this is the kick in the but I need to get all my other plans going. I will definetly look into the possibility to go work in Paris or New York.
If I were to move abroad I would really miss everyone but I wouldn't be that far away, Paris is only 2h 45 ms by air....

Better go to bed now

Take care

Too fast for love

Time flies... sometimes too fast for me to catch up...
I think I missed one day last week, suddenly it was Friday again and I don't know what happened.

The week end was nice but full of stuff. Friday I was home cleaning the place and then my stray friend Nicky came over for some apple martinins. We watched some fashion shows he had on VHS and bitched about fashion.
Saturday I realized that I forgot to turn off my alarmclock....

Saturday night HN had his birthdayexhibition. It was really cool :) He showed some of his favourite items and clothes. Afterwards we went to Nalen for a light dinner and some drinks. They had a really great drinklist. H wasn't there. She was at Storstad with someone and didn't want to join us since she is oh so annoyed that Swedish people are so cheap...
Was probably for the best any way. I'm tired of having to defend my self and all swedish habits that gets her going. Will see her on Saturday though for Marias and Peters party.

Got home at a quite decent hour, shared a cab with sis and T. T has got a new fab job - shout out to her!! Decided to go out for cocktails some night and some dancing, haven't gone dancing in ages... Will be fun!!

Oh and I got a nice surprise too: K, who lives in Bruxelles was at HN's party. It was really nice to see her and her sister again.

The baptism was nice. I got him a small chair, tip from a co-worker. It seems like Tindra, the big sis, liked it the most.

Sunday was spent avoiding creepy date-guys calls and textmessages....
Went for walk and did my duty as a citizen and voted in the church elections. I also, very discretely, covered the bills from the Swedishdemocrats... it's illegal - I know but a little civil disobedience can't hurt :)

Then back to the house to make some calls and Nicky came over again for some SATC and som epopcorn. Made ribs for dinner and enjoyed them with some wine.

Late at night creep date-guy send textmess asking if he could come over. He said that if I really wanted to meet him time and place wouldn't matter. Ok, newsflash: time and place always matters!!! Always! I don't invited someone I've met once and don't really like over at 11 at night when I'm in bed...
Told him that if he wanted a bootycall he was barking up the wrong tree. He claimed that booty wasn't what he wanted and that I should try to be more spontaneous.... I am but not when I'm half asleep...
Anyway, think he is gone for good now, I at least hope so...

Monday I met AT and T to plan our next champagnetasting. We are going for standard/prestige/magnum this time. And also some more about the actual winemaking. Means I must get started on some reading...

Am tired today, due to a naughty conversation with J late last night ;)

Am going to call G about meeting up Saturday night. He is so much fun to hang with.

Better get back to work now. I'm annoyed today due to some peoples total lack of competence...

Take care

Fall is here

and with a vengance. This last week has been cold and rainy like it usually is in September.
This obviously means I need to get a new warmer jacket :) and if I have a new jacket I'll be needing boots too...
Will do some serious shopping as soon as I can find the time.

Saturday is HN's birthday. I'm gonna get him that cool belt I saw at HM. He is actually holding a small sale of all of his stuff. Quite a cool idea! I'm dying to see the movie Crash so I'm going to suggest it for Saturday.

Have so much stuff to do at work right now. But tomorrow I'm gonna take some time off to go and visit R, who is in the hospital. He doesn't want flowers so I thought I could bring him a cool magazine so he'll have something to read. At first I intened to pick up something about motorcycles but then...It might not be such a great idea since he crashed on his bike and ended up in the hospital.

Saturday in stepbro's sons baptismceremony. And I, late as usal do not have a gift. So Thursday or Friday I'll go and try to find something for him... Can believe how fast the days are going - feels like I miss at least one day each week.

Better get back to LOST again :)

Dinner with friends

Had a great weekend :)
Friday was spent alone at home: cleaning, watching tv and listening to music. Creepy-date guy called and I, very unwillingly, picked up. He wanted to come over and rent a movie... Damn! He just doesn't know when to quit, does he?!?!? Told him that I was spending a quiet night at home. He insisted on calling me this week and we should met for drinks. Ok, I admit I haven't been totally straight forward but still.
H thinks he is a total psycho. I did actually ask him about the 8 calls last Sunday and he said he never called. Uuuhm...right - ever heard of caller id?!?!

Saturday was great! Got up decently late, had breakfast and then off grocery shopping as friends were coming over for dinner. Decided to make Mole-chicken and Pannacotta. If I may say so myself: I am quite the cook :) It was really great!! For starters I made mushroom sandwiches and we had the De Venoge blanc de noir to go with it. Oh so good :)

With the food we had Riesling from Chile and with the desert my Noe from Jerez.

After some talking about everything from IDOL 2005 to politics we decided to leave the house for some drinks. Sis went home and HN didn't join us either - they had a concert the next day.
H and me met up with G and A at Sturehof for some rasperry carpinoschas and some great laughs. Told G about creppy-date guy and he laughed until he cried...

Sunday was laundry day and then off to sis' concert in Oscarkyrkan. They sang some gospel with was really nice. After my spirit had its share it was time to satify my beautyobsession: watched Batman Begins (3,5/5) with the gorgeous Christian Bale. Nice to see Liam Neeson not being the good guy...

Had a glass of wine and some thai food with H. She is in one of her bitter periods again. This time it's all about how cheap people in Sweden are... and she has to leave because she can't stand it. Was temped to ask he if she found me cheap too, especially after the dinner on Saturday night, but I didn't.
I do think it's all about how you decide to handle things like that. You can get all worked up about it or you could just ignore it... Leaving is not a solution to anything as you are taking you with you wherever you go....

Big shoutout to day to Ali and Carl who got married this weekend :)

Champagne, champagne part II

Had the champagnetasting at Grappe yesterday. It went very well, everyone was very nice and asked a lot of questions. I couldn't answer all of them but Torbjörn was a big help.
After the tasting we had some cheese and I shared another bottle of Pierre Peters with AnnaT.

As Grappe closes quite early we moved on to TBar at Diplomat for some champagnecocktails. Was home at a quite decent hour but quite undecently drunk and sent some very indecent messages to J ;) He was playing records at a club somewhere. Now, that is very cool - he is actually a DJ :)
At least I didn't get caught dancing on the way home this time... ;)

Had an important meeting this morning so the subway was of course late and I had to run most of the way. Am wearing my new ZARA-top today and I, if I may say so myself, look damn nice in it.

Spent most of the morning suffering from the "Day-after" - effect but after lunch it feels better.

Heard that R, my ex since ages, has been in a car accident. He is in hospital with a broken pelvic. Damn, that must hurt. Will call him when I get some time...

So, today is Friday and tomorrow I'm sleeping in!! Gonna be so nice. I really need to cathc up on my sleep as I've been a very busy girl this week.

Gonna spend the rest of the afternoon faking work and looking for great stuff to do in Barcelona with J.

Fall is

a great season for me. Love the clothes and the weather, well not today as it was raining, but I love those clear, crisp falldays.
I can wear warm clothes, eat indoors and wear sunglasses without any second thoughts.

At work today I rocked :) Was in total control and manage to hold up at least 3 phones and a few other things at the same time... I'll show them that i'm really good at what I do - no doubts about that.
J and I are still planning our possible trip to Barca - it would be great if we actually could do it. I hope I can get some time of.

This Saturday I'm having a dinner party. Have invited H, G, sis, T and J. Tanja is going to Italy so she can't come but H is coming that'll be fun. We are going out for cocktails afterwards. Am probably doing AW with Gonzo on Friday which is usually very funny. Haven't seen her in a while so it'll be great fun.
Haven't decided yet what to eat but the desert is decided PannaCotta so i think I'll go for something light for maincourse.
I also have to prepare for the champagentasting tomorrow. We are tasting grapes this time, should be interesting...

Haven't heard anything from date-weirdo today. Good, maybe he finally got it. He seemed liek a nice person but I simply wasn't interested and absolutely not attracted to him. But I really think calling 8 times in ine morning is way over the top. It's a fine line between courting and stalking :)

Well that's over and done with.

Take care!

"Someone who doesn't judge me"

A very wise person said that today. The question was: What turns you on? Who do you want to be with? He answered "Someone who doesn't judge me"

That is what I'm looking for too.

T is gone. We apparently didn't have the same opinion about some things. Like having sex on the first date and such... I can't bothered with someone who judges me like that.

Spent a busy day at the office getting all the travels together. Obviously office-idiot had to find some fault with what I was doing. Then I did some shopping with H. We stopped by NK but didn't find anything then onto Zara where I icked up some casual wear for work. Speaking of work: I'm working on getting J to go with me to Barcelona. Think we would have a great time: shopping and partying, sightseeing and doing cool stuff.
Am thinking about putting togheter a dinnerparty on Saturday with G and H. And I'll see if J can join us - either for dinner or later if we go out. Am so dying for some real fun with people who really care about me.

J has been the best: encouraging and supporting. If it hadn't been for him I'd sink like a stone and just vanish. He is much nicer to me than I deserve. I hope I can "repay" him someday.
He is coming over, I hope, some night this week so we can hang out, just the two of us.
There so much more I can say but I'm so tired now...

Take care and remember to surround yourself with people who wants only good thing s for you :)

Alca-star gazing

I'm an Alca-star :)
Went to the Alcazar-consert after all on Friday. Some wine with the co-workers made me feel better. Had a surprisingly nice time doing AW in the office.

Met sis, Henri and their ethiopian friend at Gröna Lund and the concert was really great! It's their last performance for now - no one knows when they'll be back. But they ended with fab style and total gala. Lost of dancing and some really cool moves. I think they managed to squeeze in all of their hits in the show. And they where absolutely beautiful!
Met lovely Mats, Magnus' boyfriend and soon to be husband.

Then we ended up at Strand for some wine and talking.
Yesterday was the Kräftskiva at Wessens. Really nice but very cold. Sang a few song and translated them into english for Isakurh. When you think about it most swedish songs are about drinking and/or forgetting your troubles by drinking. No wonder we have a rep to be sad and moody but heavy drinkers :)

Today I'm screening my calls.. due to creepy-Kevin calling. He suggested that he should come over here today for "coffee". Don't get me wrong I do respect a mans whishes to get some but he is not getting any with me... I don't find him very attractive but I don't know how to say that. I wonder if I'll get away with not answering the phone ever again when he calls. I mean when will he get it stop calling. He has called me 8 times today! I would call once, leave a message and leave it at that. Must have some selfrespect and ride. Never ever beg - that's just sad...

If he calls again I will answer and just say 'no'. I suppose this is what A means with my boundry-issues... I'm not good at saying no to things or to people. Usually that's fun cause I end up going to or doing a lot of funny stuff but sometimes it can get me into trouble... like today. He knows where I live, what do I do if he just shows up on my door step?!?!? GOD!

I'll just say that I keep the phone on mute - which is true and that I'm ill - which is close to the truth (am coughing today) and that I'm staying in today - which is almost true and that I'll call him this week - which is not entirely true...

Take care

Ego-cuddling...

is always nice! Had my share of that yesterday. First I was totally on top of my jobsituation. All the stuff I finished last night would have broken a weaker spirit ;) Then went on a date with the Kevin-person who has been after me for a while. He waited for me for 45 mns outside my office so he must have been really eager to met me. We had a quite nice time but since I'm not really feeling well I kept it pretty short so I was home at around 8.
Then he started to send me some quite odd textmessages... It's not that I mind getting dirty messages it's just that I don't want to get it from a person I've known for 2 hrs...

And then to totally make my day T called and asked: "where is my woman?" Told him his woman was in bed feeling ill. Too bad cause he wanted me to come over and see his new place. We'll do it some other night... He missed me which I like :)

Was checking out Barcelonatickets today, about 6000 for two tickets to Barca. I'd love to go with J since he is almost my equal when it comes to shopping and partying. Actually I think he is more into partying than me and we have fun together. He is a nice guy (I'm not writing that just cause I know he reads this ;)).

Having some doubts about the Alcazarconsert tonight. As I'm going to the Wessen-party tomorrow I don't think I'll be going tonight and I don't want to go alone...
Am not really feeling well but am feeling happier today. Probably because I got som much done last night and really showed my capacity at work.

Think I'm going to spend Friday night with a nice glass of wine and my new favourite pass-time: not T as one might think, but SuDoku :) and maybe rent a DVD.
If you need me, I'll be on my couch ;)

Take care!

Getting Lost again

My favourite TVseries in on again. Lost on channel 4. It's so exciting!
I read the coolest theory about it: all the people on the island are actually dead but they have to face their demons to get to move on to the afterlife...Seems reasonable!

I confess: I'm a shopoholic. Had a meeting in Kista today and to get to and from the office I had to pass through Kista C, which has a lot of stores. On my way back I suddenly found myself trying on a new skirt in one shop and picking up a knitted sweater in another. Oh well, I work hard and earn my own money and I'm worth it :)

My work situation is improving a bit but I don't think I'm gonna stay after this project is over. Haven't felt very happy lately but I don't know if it's my job or my life in general.
Got my bathroom done, got some new clothes, solved some financial issues and I'm still feeling disturbed by something... I don't know what it is. I think I really need to have some serious fun. Like one crazy night Gonzo and I had with H&O at Berns...

Will round up some people next weekend and party!
Maybe it's the T-situation. Maybe I expected to much....

Don't miss the wonderful John Legend tonight on TV at 22.30

With a little help

from my friend J I finally got the mirror and the shelf up in the bathroom :)
Due to my... creative measurements we had to move the mirror around a few times and this has left some not so nice holes in the wall. I'll try to find some nice paint to cover them with...
I suppose I can blame the crookedness on my faulty eyes... I have to get new glasses soon!

In exchange for his physical effort I made dinner. Think my cooking skills surprised him ;) But my grandmother taught me well. She started when I was 7. My first lesson was making a bearnaisesauce from scratch and if I didn't get it right she'd pour it out and I would start again...
Picked up some wine on the way home too and we shared a bottle as J wasn't driving. He has sold his car, the Smart. Seems like he had a nice weekend canoeing in the wild. Actually he was in my old hood - Nyköping. Creeps me out just thinking about it. I'm so glad to be back in town!

Thinking about asking T to join me at the party on Saturday. Must take this under some serious advicement... Wonder if creepy couple M&M are coming. I'm so mean but I hope they break up soon. Can't stand them together - they truly bring out the worst in eachother...

Shouldn't you be with someone who makes you feel relaxed and brings out the best in you not a person who you compete with in everything. Oh well, as I so rarely meet them I don't really care.

Started planning a bouleevent with my posse. Boule is a nice sport. You don't sweat and you can drink wine doing it :) Speaking of sweating I'm going boxing tonight again. And I'll wear my new white sporttop :)

Saw the coolest belt that I need (if I want it - I need it) it has "I don't need your attitude, I got one of my own" written on it. Just one problem: it's a mans belt so it's quite large but maybe I can make new holes in it. Must have it!

Today it's nice and sunny, unfortunately I have to be indoors working. Speaking of the weather: hope things work out i New Orleans. I haven't been yet and I'm dying to see the old French Quarters.

List of places I want to visit:
1. Egypt - the pyramids
2. Paris - can't ever get enough
3. New York - for the vibe
4. New Orelans - the big Easy
5. Napa Valley - for the wine and the views
6. Las Vegas - "we're in Las Vegas tonight" :)
7. HongKong, Shanghai and Macao - decadent and mysterious
8. Peru - The Inka trail
9. Haiti - history, rum and vodoodolls
10. Berlin - clubbing and shopping
11. Istanbul - carpets, palaces and bellydancers
12. Rome - Ecce Roma
13. Alaska - coola nature very Peak Performance
14. Barcelona - Gaudi and shoe-heaven
15. San Fransisco - hills, trams and trannies

and so many other places...

City-girl

Have realized that I am a city girl and totally incompatible with nature...

Was supposed to go to one of the Kräftskivor on Saturday. I got the impression that it wouldn't be that far. I ended up walking through the woods in my heels for about 35 mns... That is too far! What's wrong with throwing a party down town?? The party was ok but my mood changed radically after the walk so I left early.

Friday was Annica's party. It turned out quite well. She enjoyed it very much and she is worth it. I wasn't able to attend the actual disputation but they said she did great. Good girl :)
Sat next to Love, which was nice. Haven't seen him in ages so we caught up. He is actually a father since 2 months.

Yesterday I wanted to work on my bathroom and get the mirror and the 2 new cool shelfs up.

Apparently my walls are made out of concrete and they really didn't cooperate with me and the drill... Called T but he was moving into his new apartment so he could help me. Called J and he was away doing something outdoorsy . Not even the usual "you are som masculine and pease help me"-routine didn't work... But he is coming over tonight to help me - very nice :) And I'm supposed to make him dinner. Very 50ies... Big Strong Man working with tools and Small Weak Woman in the kitchen ;)
Very Me Tarzan- You Jane

But not every Jane has her own toolbox :)

My parents finally got rid of the other house - good news. They stopped by last night with some of the stuff my grandfather left me, his chessgame among other things. Me and granddad spent a lot of time with that game so it means a lot to me. I wonder if it'll feel strange to play with someone else...

Friday I'm in love...

or am I?!?!

Don't know but I'd love to find out :)

So Friday...tonight it's Annicas disputationsfest which I'm not really looking forward to... My parents are gonna be there - not fun at all and I'm tired and I've seen the guest list and most guests are her strange scientist friends. Well H and sis are gonna be there so that's ok I guess.
Tried to get G to join but he has a bachelorparty tonight.

Tomorrow it's AnnaT's kräftskiva - it's somewhere in Lijleholmen, quite far but some cool people are going.

Yesterday turned into a long long day... Worked until 7.30 pm with travel management. And then off to M&P for some champagne.. actually not some I think we downed 8 bottles for 5 people ;)
Am not really feeling as tired as I thought I would but I got home at around midnight. Guess I'll pay for it later.

Next week I'll take one afternoon and do all my shopping for the fall season. I really love the fall lines this year: purple, red, dark green, great fabrics and great styles.
Need new boots, at least one handbag and one larger bag, a few scarves, a nice hat.

Am wearing the Xuly Bet tonight and the fab white shoes, regardless I will at least be fab :)

Might be having dinner with T on Sunday but we haven't decided yet. I might be in a coma due to too much partying so we'll see. I love that he finds me beautiful and sexy - I know I'm a sucker for compliments but what the hell...

Now playing...

"Living la vida loca" with the ever so fab - Ricky Martin.

Just remebered how my very drunk sis staggered around a New Yearsparty some years ago singing this song and then falling alseep on a couch. Quite a funny sight :)

Finally the client event is over and done with. I worked it quite nicely, if I may say so myself. Looking very business-like and smiling and greeting all the guests.
The service at Clarion wasn't the best but all the small issues where quite quickly solved.

Met two really nice sisters that I'll be staying in touch with - exchanged businesscards :)

Finally swallowed my pride (and gave into my my lower needs ;)) and called T. He was home but he came over for dinner. He has had a haircut so no more backslick and he is growing a goatee and my God he looks great. So sexy and very masculine - just as I like it. And like icing on the cake he is smart, funny, ambitious and sweet AND likes to dance and cook...

We watched a really crappy film "French Kiss" with Meg Ryan and Kevin Kline, I almost fell asleep a few times but he kept waking me up.

The end of the week is filled with parties. M is celebrating her Taiwan-thing with champagne at P's place tonight. Friday is Annica's disputationsfest and Saturday is AnnaT's kräftskiva.

Just got an invitation to a kräftskiva at Wessens' place. Their parties are infamous and great. Am really looking forward to that. Unfortunately PFL is having her birthday drinks the same day so I'll miss that.

Precious

Precious occasions need to be appreciated :)
Had one of those walking to work this morning. The sun was shining in my face, John Legend in my Ipod and no stress....

Did accomplish a good thing today: finally put up the new shelf in my bathroom. Drilled and stuffed the holes with silicon and then hung the shelf. It looks really nice. Now I need to get a nice mirror so I can finally g get rid of that dreadful bathroom cupboard.... Am also thinking about repainting the walls but that'll be a later project.

Feeling a lot better today, the medicine I got is really helping I'm just worried that the wine I've had this weekend might have some negative impact om the effects. I'll try to look it up on the internet.

The party on Saturday was really nice, too bad som many left early. H, sis and me left at around 11. Sis went home and H and myself carried on to Riche for a few drinks. Talked to G, he was at Storstad so we never met up. He is the funniest guy. He called me just as I got home at around 2.30 to make sure that I wasn't mad at him for not showing up. We decided to meet for dinner some night this week. He is going to run in the StEriksloppet, that's 21 kms which is FAR!! I asked if he wanted to go running with me some day and he said yes. Now as I think about it maybe it's not such a great idea after all... I don't want to embarras myself but pukin gor passing out ;)

Went shopping with Mi on Sunday. Picked up some really nice stuff at HM: a top, a new belt with the writing "I'm not totally worthless, can be used as a bad example" on it, a scarf and a couple of thongs. Talked to T and it seems like he got the job he wanted which is cool and he is also getting a new place.
Then we went for coffee at MOJO and had a nice chat. As usaul with Mi, we laughed a lot and got quite loud... :)

This afternoon I got a surprise call from Kevin - the date who never showed. He wanted a second chance and I told him to call me next week. Also asked hi m why he didn't show. He claims that he was at Bistro Jarl but couldn't find me. I mean wouldn't you call then - I know I would... Oh well I don't think he'll call me back as I was quite rude to him... We'll see.

J told me that he was chased by some animal in the woods the other day. I think it was a badger. The y have quite a nasty bite I'm told. The woods are dangerous - i've always sadi that :)

Thinking about putting together a fall-evening with the Portugalposse... Either go bowling or play boule and then off to some nice place for dinner.

Noone wants to go and see Alcazar with me. Cannot believ that. Will make them go dancing in the world of disco!

Now it's almost time for CSI - gotto go

Take care

What's new?!?!

Came back from Gothenburg yesterday night. The flight was ok and the party was great.

Office-M came by my hotelroom to shower and we went together to the operahouse. It was really nice, good food and great champagne. Met the rest of the ERT-crew. They are all very nice. I think they like me more than the people I work with.... Maybe that's mean but sometimes I think it's true.

Tonight it's the 50-ies party organized by Maria and Peter. Am really looking forward to that. Sis, H and myself are going. We are meeting at H's place for make-up and some wine. And then off to the party in my pink shoes :)

Got my hair done and it looks great :) What really bothers me is that she said 3 hours and it took almost 6... T called and wanted to go for coffee but I didn't have time. Called him yesterday but no answer so I'll just hold off...

Saw J last friday - he has quit smoking and looks really nice. Has stared working out a lot too.. maybe I should try to get my act together in the healthylife stye dep.
Only wine and candy once a week
Healthier food and more excercise...

Just got a great idea: will indulge myself with a new pair of shoes or a bag for each 5 kg I loose :)

Now I should clean my apartment and get going...

See ya - take care!

Gunning down romance....

now playing in my baby Ipod. Have had a nice weekend again. Today sis and me went to IKEA and she was driving... She passed her drivers test this week. We got a bit lost but we finally made it. Picked up some stuff for the bathroom which I'll be fixing up later. Saturday I had my hair done. It's actually not ready yet - have to go back on Tuesday and finish it. Can't believe how long it took this time. Had to stop att 8 o'clock because I was going to meet with G and H for dinner. Stressed home to change and then hopped in a cab and went to Sturehof for dinner then off to NOX for drinks. G's friend H also showed up - he is really nice. G and I ended the evening at Riche with some wine.
Friday me and H went to Berns for AW. Got a chance to catch up a bit with Robbie and Svempa - two of the nicest guys I've worked with. Came home at aroung 11, quite intoxicated and very hungry. Had some food and popcorn and watched SATC.

J came over at around 1. He seemed quite down but it didn't seem like a god time to ask him what was going on. I'll try to ask him soon. Don't like to see him look unhappy.

Sent the review to Gonzo and she loved it. I'm glad cause I wasn't sure how to write it. I hope she'll send me another one cause I really enjoyed it. And I also got to read a book I probably wouldn't have read.

Last week ended very busy at work. We are now finalizing the travel plans and we will start making reservations on Monday. Looking at a quite busy schedule thi week too. And on Thursday I'm off to Gothenbur for the boatparty. Will be staying at a hotel, I love hotels!
Nice breakfast and someone else cleanin up your mess :) Speaking of cleaning I dropped some stuff under the bed so I had to crawl in there..... and God I really need to clean under the bed...

Better get started on the bathroom now.

Take care

New hair..

is on its way :) Called Patrice today and she can see me tomorrow evenig, just great! My weaves are truly looking bad right now. Bought new hair today spent 720 sek ans then another 1500 to Patrice, but I'm worth it.

Have been very busy at work this week and tired so no updates for a couple of days.

Sis passed her drivers license yesterday - am very happy for her and other EC-sis is getting married. I actually thought there were married.. but there you go :)

Coworker M almost got me loosing my temper today. The problem is that I don't really know what it is about him that totally rubs me the wrong way... but there is something! Need to address the problem so I'll bring it up with K soon. I will get to go to Gothenburg for the boat-party. WOnder what I shall wear... Am thinking about the black Zara-dress and my pin up shoes. We'll see...

Monday I'm meeting with AT and JL to plan the champagnetasting - will be fun and then I'm having dinner with cousin S too. Haven't seen him since easter so we have a lot of catching up to do...

Talked to T on the phone today which left me smiling almost all night. He is so sweet! I hope his jobsituation will work out. He is buying the new apartment -with a fireplace - that is nice.
Went to boxclass yesterday for the first time in 4 months. Believe me am paying for that today ;) Will start running once a week and boxing nce a week. That should be enough to keep me fit. I don't want to be too healthy after all :) Next week we need to make the arrangements for Bellmanstafetten... if we are going to do it that is. So far it's just H and myself so we need 3 more at least 1 male... Up for the challenge anyone?!?!?

Sunday sis is driving me to IKEA and then we are going to the movies - should be nice. Fridaynight is all about T and myself. Haven't seen him in a week due to work overload. Fun to have a lot of stuff to do but not so much fun comin ghome at 9 ever night because of work... And next week seems to be even worse with the Gothenburgevent as the peak. Wonder if officeM and me will travel together, hope so since I don't really like to fly...
Would love to see his place in Gothenburg to.

Better be off to bed now
Sweet dreams

Sundaynight thought:

cool, soft and mellow. Was awakened by a textmess from Gonzo asking about latte and some catching up. We met at Västermalmsgallerian and had brunch. Then some shopping. Picked up a new shirt and a winestand for the kitchen.

Then back home to pick up some grocerys and spent most of the day reading the book I'm reviewing for VR.

Saturday was spent running with H, watching the Prideparade (fab) and dinner at H's place with sis and E. Haven't seen E in ages. I'm glad she is doing better now - she was totally burned out last time I saw her but now she seems to have gotten things together.

T called and wanted us to come over after dinner but the huge amount of talk and wine got to me so I went right home at about 1. He is great even if he has his ways.... He is very "couple-oriented" and I am not. Maybe I've been single too long, or have had to many strange relationships to give up my freedom and independence that easily. I wouldn't date anyone else (unless Lenny calls ;)) but introduce him as my boyfriend is a bit too soon.
Asked A about the toothbrush and he thinks it's my "relationship neuroses" that pops up. He claims that he noticed that about me when we were together last year but he didn't mention it then. When I met him last weekend he said I need to work on setting boundaries and need to learn to say no... Suppose he is right.
I'm going to start on Monday by letting office-M know what I think about his way at work.

H seems to got through one of her bitter periods at the moment. She totally bashes everything that isn't to her liking right now and that makes her quite an annoying person to be around.
Told her that she needs to lighten up a bit.
She actually made me quite mad on Friday when she questioned my parents lifestyle and choices. They has, according to her, no careers and are by her definitions failures... Sad, very sad. My parents focused on having a happy life together and a family not working their asses off.

Was thinking about what motivates me. I really don't know. Having fun, seeing my friends being happy, having cool plans to look forward to, obviously shopping for cool stuff... and so many other things.

Do surround yourself with people who wants good things for you.
Do surround yourself with beautiful things.
Do indulge yourself with things you don't need but want.
Do have at least one good laugh a day.
Do wear great shoes and bags.
Do eat good food and drink good wine.
Do listen to music that affects you.
Do take care of your friends.
Do enjoy the small things in life: the beautiful sky, the sun in your face, the smell just after the rain.
Do sleep enough
Do tell people around you that you love them, you never know when you'll get a second chance.
Do respect other and they'll respect you
Don't be bothered with things you cannot change.
Do change the things you can

Better get to bed now.
Take care

PRIDE

Well, not gay and proud but straight and proud :)
Proud of myself, my friends, my life and the choices I've made - some good ones and some bad ones. But everything I've done in my life this far made me the person I am today and that is a person I like and I wish all the best...

Finally cleared things with J yesterday and he seemed very cool about it. No more unfinished business and that's good. Have now put all that behind me and am ready to move on. Not that I regret anything. J is a great guy and we've had a lot of fun toghether. And I'll always remeber him fondly (very mature I must say :))

So yesterday I went to Berns for AW with H. Not so many people I know there but we had a great time as usual with some roséwine. Then off to Rio with MT, P and P and a few others. Danced with some halfnaked lithuanian underwearmodels - had a great view over very well toned abs ;)
Got home at a quite decent hour 1.30ish and off to bed. Today it's running again. Have signed up for Bellmanstafetten - why, God why?!?! So now I need to put my money where my mouth is...

Then is the Prideparade! Love that event - 100% love and gala. Apparently some fascist or whatever are going to do something so this year it's even more important to be there.

H and me and sis are going.

Better hit the shower and get into my running gear.

At 3 I'll be somewhere on Skeppsbron maybe I see you there :)

Have a PRIDEday!

III Be proud and work on those abs ;)

An evening with T

can save any bad day :)

Didn't get a chance to talk to coworker M yesterday so I hope I'll get the opportunity today.
This morning he has been all over me again about a document that is totally out of my control.
I'm depending on others for answers and until I get them there is nothing I can do!

T called just as I was leaving work yesterday and we decided to met at the stairs at Dramaten. Went back to my place and picked up some food and rented a dvd, Closer 3,5/5 on the way home.

He cooked and I watched - just the way I like it ;) Had some wine with dinner and just talked. Can't believe how easy it is to talk to him. Told him about my family and all the expectations they have had on both me and my sister. He told me about his family and childhood, it felt very nice. Then hopped into the bathtub with a GT and then back to the couch to watch the film. I really enjoyed it and he fell asleep :)

Borrowed his Ipod and had a Lenny Kravitz-moment. He is so great (Lenny that is but T is pretty damn good too)! Reminded me of the concert so I had a big smile on my face.
Went to bed and fell asleep almost immediately - totally relaxed from the bath and his arms around me. God, I sound like such a romantic whimp but it felt very very good...

Woke up from the sun in my face this morgning and felt really good. Had breakfast together and off to work. I had a phoneconference at 9 so there was no time for sleeping in.

Saw a poster in the subway about a tango and flamencoshow that I would love to see, it's at Dansens Hus and some other places in town. On Saturday we are going to the V&Smuseum to see an exhibition about wine and food. Will keep a low key on Saturday - just dinner and a movie again.

Friday me, H and MT might be going to Rio for a crazy night with my gay posse. Will be so much fun! Last time I was there Gonzo and I ended up dancing like nuts to schlagers with some incredibly cute gay guys.

Will get myself together and call J today - shit! Must really get it over with now. If I do I will reward myself with a new pair of pants :)

Better get on with my work now

Take care/E

New and improved baby

IPod today :)
Updated with my all-time favourite Prince, bootyshaking Ricky and smoothsinging George. Had a nice walk to work this morning and a nice run last night. Ran for about 35 mins nonstop and pretty fast. Was absolutely beat once I stopped but I guess that is the point....

Had the doctors appointment this morning. Good to get it over with and finally decide what to do. God, what a mess I'm in right now.

Office-M is back today which ruined my whole day. Will bitch about this with Gonzo today. And today I must bring it up with him. His behaviour is not acceptable. Will talk to K about it first...

She has hooked me up with VR to write bookreviews - really cool. She'll stop by the office sometime this week with the books I'm to read. Today I'll pick up an issue of the magazine and check it out. Haven't read that paper since I was 16 or so. Oh, I actually got some issues when I did the booty-shots last year :)

Hopefully I'll see lovely T tonight. He is totally supportive but the decision is mine to make.

Saw that J has linked to my blog so I must return the favor: do visit J and say 'hi'

Lovely and soon-to-be-married HvM has her own "bride blogg"in Swedish but really fun. She'll be a fab bride. Wish her and M all the best :)

This weekend I shall invited the HC-ladies to cocktails and some catching up on Friday. Must be somewhere classy and cool. Must think about this today.

Have a lot of stuff to do today but absolutely no inspiration to work... as usual :)

Decided to change my song of the day to Commandment of the day

So the first one is:
I) Do indulge yourself because you're worth it :)

Newfound friends...

made me happy this morning: I found my cd's that I thought were MIA :) So tonight I'll update my baby Ipod with Depeche, Prince and ever smoothsinging George Michael.

Had sis over for dinner and a few glasses of wine yesterday. She had been on a date on Sunday and they went to Clarion, so did me and H but we never met. The service was really bad there - I hate that. The bartender is totally hot but good looks don't really help when it takes 20 mns to pour one lousy glass of rosé. Had I done that when I was working they would have kicked me out on my booty...
Talked to sis about money and clothes. I realized that sometimes I wear clothes for about 5000 sek... No wonder I have no money :) But like I use to say: If I'm going bankcrupt I look damn fine doing it.

Got the nails I needed from dad so soon my walls will be covered with bling, will look very nice I think on my white walls.

Met with A on Sunday too and got some really upsetting news from him. I totally have myself to blame for this but still... Need to talk to J so I think I'm meeting with him this afternoon.

Was dreaming about T all day yesterday and all night last night. Love his smile and his eyes. I don't however love the fact that he has left his toothbrush at my place... I don't really know what we are or are becoming but I like it :) and I like him...
Will call him today and see if we can go to the movies tomorrow. I'd like to see "War of the Worlds".

My co-worker Alex came back today. His brother, Robin, died this summer.
Robin was only 18 years old. Apparently he was at a friends place watching a movie and just hanging out. He said he felt a bit dizzy and just 5 mns later he was dead... They still don't know what happened. I feel so sorry for him!

Makes you think, doesn't it?!?! How everything can just end and all the plans you've made just change in one moment. Alex is only 22 but he had to grow up fast...

If I get the chance tomorrow I'm going to speak to my coworker Martin about his attitude towards my work. I mean what is the point of asking me to do something only so he can tell me it's wrong and redo it himself. Maybe it's his insecurity issues and he feels like he needs to "put me in my place" to feel like a greater person... I don't know but it's totally unaccepable. He is very much the type My-way or-the-highway wich is sad but very common.
Or maybe he just has a small dick (God I'm so nasty ;))

Anymay, need to do some updates now...

Take care

Total

confusion!
Haven't updated in a while due to no internetconncetion yet... and the neighbour have installed a firewall. Cheap b*stards ;)

So what's new???

Thursday was the date-with- Tommy-day. And my God, he is gorgeous! I was really tired and intened to try to get out of the date. He called me and suggested that we should go to some pub and have a beer... Uuuhmmm I don't think so. Eventually we dicided to met at Fridhemsplan at take it from there.
I was first and while I waited I started talking to a dutch guy who was also waiting for someone. So Tommy appears and he is oh so fine :) We went to a place I have never been before Dova's... Strange place but very cheap but great service and ok food. I have paid 3 time as much for worse food than that.

Sat there talking to eachother and a Romanian guy who sat down at our table. Went back to my place and spent a great night and morning together. Good thing I had Friday off....

Gonzo and I were ladies who lunch on Friday. Had a decent Ceasarsallad and rosé at MS Gerda.
Then met up with Hannah to pick up movietickets for the evening.

Had coffe and cake at Gateau and then off to BOB to met up with the rest of the posse. Had some food and wine and then to the movies. We saw Fantastic 4 (1,5/5). Then we stopped for a nightcap at Oxid before heading home.

Got up on Saturday to clean the apartment. It smelled like rug....
Then Hannah and myself were ladies who sweat jogging around Hagaparken. Called T when I came home and he came around later for dinner and a movie. Saw "Maria full of grace" (4/5), really great!

He is so sweet. Am apparently not used to a guy calling when he says he will call and takes care of me. When we where walking home on Thursday and was carrying some stuff which he took in his bag. Sunday morning he got up and made breakfast and did the dishes from dinner the night before. Good God, Hannah says he is a keeper :) and I tend to agree with her... Hope things work out for the best.

Got the sweetest and most amazing comment from my girl Gonzo. She added some stuff to my 500-list.

Now I need to at least seem like I'm working....

Take care

Champagne, champagne...

Had a great time last night By the Sea with AT and P and some SC-people.
AT and myself, true to our Grand Cru-fellows, had a few glasses of champagne. Then we realized that a bottle would be cheaper in the long run and ordered that :)

Got home at a decent hour in spite of the Billecart-influence ;) Was walking home and listening to John Legend in my Ipod and I danced a little bit... at least until I realised that I wasn't alone. Felt quite embarrased but I blame the Billecart - Legend-combo *l*

Today I'm stopping by NK to shop some stuff that I want and need. "If I want it - I need it" Will check with Hannah if she has time to join me.
Since it's so little to do at work, I'm taking both Thursday and Friday off. On Monday most people are back from vacations and everything takes off again. I hope I'll get some more stuff to do then. Having absolutely nothig to do is really no fun.

Tonight I'm going to try to install my digitalcamera SW on my computer. Hope it'll work out nicely... Have to go and pick up a pic-cd at sis' place to.

Haven't talked to J yet and the more I think about it the more I feel like it's best left alone. Him and me is never going to happen and that's ok now that I know for sure. What is worse is that I don't feel comfortable around him anymore so I avoid calling or talking to him. That feeling is going to disappear - I know that... been there and done that sort of. But I just hope that he will still be around and be there for me as my friend when I'm over him... It's always oh so easy to say "sure we'll be friends" but when things really happen you'll quickly learn who your friends are and who you can count on.

Gonzo will be back from Spain this weekend so August will be fab-strutting godess-month :) Looking forward to soulnight at Marie Laveau and F12... Wish the weather would be nicer...

Will call G today and see if we can meet and catch up before it gets to busy for me.

Now playing Uffe's Ipod - Jackson 5 - Blame it on the boogie :) haven't heard that song in months...

So, it's almost 10 and I haven't had my coffee yet... gotto go now.

Take care

Someone told me

that a date is like a jobinterview with cocktails... I tend to agree :) even if cocktails add a certain je ne sais quoi to it all...
Worked on the 500list again last night and got it pretty good. Added: fast learner, no stress and positive attitude. Those qualities I know for a fact that I have.

Called Patricia back yesterday. She was upset about her final degree and had tried all summer go get a meeting with our teacher. He on the other hand has totally broken down due to a heavy workload and some girlfriend-problems... We are having lunch today so she'll tell me all about that and some other gossip. She is helping me out with Annica's party too which is nice. Got an email from Annica yesterday saying that the place she had booked isn't working due to some kind of security issues... So now we need to find a new place and she want to bring her own food and wine... Patricia is helping me look. I'll probably also will need someone to help me handle the bar at the party.

So about the date: Kevin called me and said he was running late and wouldn't be at Bistro Jarl until 6.30. So I picked up my favourite magazine (Livets Goda) ordered a glass of rosé and waited. At 6.50 he hadn't showed up yet so then I left... Can't really be bothered to wait for people who don't even have the decency to call and say that they are not coming/running late. Oh well at least I got a nice moment reading and drinking good wine.

Speaking of wine: the Grand Cru club are planning a champagnetasting and apparently I'm leading it. God need to do some quick catching up then. Might be meeting AT tomorrow for drinks and planning at Nox.

Last night I tried to do some updates on the new computer but it didn't really work the way I wanted it. I will also need to download some antivirusstuff and some sort of firewall. At least I got around to get the broadband now. I do surf but I'm using someone elses wireless network :)

Tomorrow I'm stopping by NK to do some shopping. Got a 500 sek gift certificate for my birthday that I intend to spend :) and I also need some fall shoes. Summer feels like it's totally over now. Last night and this morning it was raining like crazy.
On Friday we are going to see Fantastic Four, could be nice. I loved all those Marvelcomics turned into films. I mean how great wasn't X-men I and II?!? Ok, Hugh Jackman is a hunk but the films where still great.

Anyway, need to send some emails now. Might as well make good use of my time when I need to be in the office :)

Have a great day!

Nice Weekends....

like the one I had are just great.
Friday I met up with J and bought a computer. Eventually I got a HP of some kind. It looks very nice which obviously is important to me :)
Then onto dinner with the folks. Got home at aorund 1.30 since I missed the subway and had to walk home... In the rain...

Got the usual "I miss you" text mess from A at 3.30 :) Answered the next day asking him how he liked Barcelona... No response until Saturday, this time at 4.14 "Miss you and wish you were here"...

Saturday I intended to get out of bed early - didn't really do that. Managed to get going to Solna C and pick up my X-maspresent. Got a really cool pair of briefs - red and very soft. Johan, who got them seemed to like them a lot. I also got a really cool belt "Dont play stupid wtih me..I'm better at it" written on it. Am going back to pick up another one that says "I don't need your attitude, I got one of my own" Damn, that is so cool...

Then it was the date... The guy looks very hot. Very much "my type" tall, dark, shaved head and a lot of attitude, would say he is a 5/10. (God I'm so judgemental...)
He was very nice and we had some interesteing conversations during our shopping. Then we went for coffee and got something to eat. I needed to pick up some new bling so he went with me for that to. We decided that we are going to met again some night this week and go for drinks...

Then back home to shower and change into my fab-partyself. :) Met up with J and H at Storstad for some wine before the party. I was running late as usual...
Ended up wearing the white shoes, new Acnejeans and Xuly Bet halterneck top. Apparently J reads this blog since he asked about "the fab shoes". Must say he has a great sense of fashion ;)

At the party I was seated with Peder, Lost and Johan among others. All of them very nice. H sat next to an incredibly cute guy so I walked over there with some champagne and we ended up having a great time the three of us.

At around 1 we went back to Storstad and had that last glass of wine... you know the one you shouldn't have! There we ran into G, who I had a huge crush on some 10 years ago. We exchanged numbers and are seeing eachother to catch up some night this week. He is still gorgeous...

Will be nice to met him again. Went home and sent some textmessages to J as I usually do when I'm drunk... He was out partying at Berns I think. The one thing I really hate about thiw new phone is that it saves sent messages. I mean if I don't actually see the messages I've sent I can deny it but no... They are stille there Delete Delete Delete..... ;)

Sunday was the after-party brunch. Also very nice. Got to talk to P. We actually stayed at Hoffmans until I had to leave for dinner with the Portugal-posse at Mosebacke at 6. Had such a nice time and decided to meet again soon :)

The Portugal-issues are not quite solved but we are on our way... Decided that, if we go again next year, we shall try to prepare more and everyone has to try harder. If there is something you don't want just say that. Right then and there... I know I have to work on that to but since I am quite flexible when I travel I just follow where ever the others go. At least as long as I get to drink some wine and do some shopping :)

So tonight I have another date: Kevin 36. He called me twice yesterday and disturbed me both times. He sounds very nice. Will do the usual thing and let him decide the place. Says so much about someone how they handle that. If he says Berns, NOX or some place like those I'm happy. Would he suggest some creepy bar at Söder I'm gone :) or even worse an english pub. There is one person who can take me to an english pub and get away with it and that's Dan! Noone else.... ever....

Worked on the 500list again last night. Feels actually quite nice to really thing through the things about myself that I like. Got some tips from Peder S on things to do...

Damn, need to talk to J soon. I wish I hadn't said anything to him but it's too late for regrets now.. I should have done what I usaully do: just let it go and move on but since I really liked him both his personality and his ... hm bedside manors ;) I really couldn't do that.
But anyway - life goes on and so do I with or without him and I'll be wearing fab shoes :)

Just made a desicion: will call him today and set a "date" and just get it over with.

So hope you had a nice weekend

Take care out there

Rainy Dayz...

last night and most of the day it's been raining... Can't believe it's the end of July. To me it seems like summer is over, too bad because I had planned to go on a boat trip with Johan and some friends next week.

Tomorrow is the X-mas party and I still haven't go something red and soft... I'll take a tour round town after work today and try to find something. If nothing else works I'll get some red and soft candy - but how funny is that- or maybe I'll get some underwear... The problem is that I don't know who it's for. So if it's for a total prude underwear might come off totally wrong...

And on Sunday it's an After-party-brunch wich might be nice too :) Seems like it'll be a fun weekend.

And tomorrow is also the shopping-date. We are going to met at the furniturestore at 1 pm and then have lunch. I've told him that I can't be that long since it's the party and I need to go home and do girlsstuff ;)

I might actually buy a computor today. J is helping me to choose one. Good thing because the technology is not really my thing...Have been trying to call him but no answer... maybe he is out in his canoe. Crazy guy!

On the 500list I added: smart, independent and funny... I'm going to ask someone who knows me if they agree or not. But do I really want to know what people think of me?!?! Do you ever really tell someone what you think of them? I don't... I usually only tell people the good stuff and not the bad.
I do believe, however, that it's sometime better to tell people the bad stuff so they can work on it.

I wish I could find someone who would tell me "I like you because of who you are and not what you do or who you do it with" That would be the ultimate egoboost, wouldn't it?!?!

My co-worker Lakis told me that he was in Thailand during the Tsumani. Him, his girlfriend and her friend almost got caught in the waves. I so glad he made it otherwise I would never have met this great and extremely intelligent guy that he is. He said that the only thing going through his head was that he needed to keep his girlfriend safe. I wish someone would think tht of me. I suppose my mother would think that but it's part of her jobdescription ;)

Sis is coming back from Cologne to night so I can finally get ome fashiontips. Do I get away with wearing a green 18thcentury coat and jeans?? Tried it on yesterday at home and felt really comfortable.

Terrible all this that's been going on in London lately! I'm glad I'm not there. God I hope Andre is ok!! Have to call him later just to check...

Well got to get going now. I have cocktails to drink and stuff to shop ;)

Take care/E

Missing...

my Prince double cd. I have lent it to someone and I can't remeber who it is. George Michael and Diamonds and Pearls are also MIA. F*CK!!!
I started sorting through all my cd's last night and I have made some questionable choices when it comes to music. For example I have three (3) Nordman albums.... why I'll never understand! They truly suck but maybe I bought them during my "Oreo"-period, I don't know.

I can't believe how many cds I have - must have spent so much money on music!

Face is better today. I can actually smile without looking like I had a bad lipjob :)
Came home from jogging yesterday just to find a black spider in the tub... not the big creepy kind but still quite unpleasant. Flushed it down the drain...The money I spent on the phobia-therapy has paid off a million times. Talk about money well spent!

Worked on the 500-list last night. Added: kind, generous and diplomatic. Are these qualities I have or qualities I wish I had??? Hard to know but I try to be kind and diplomatic all though one thing I know is that it is very obvious (at least for those who knows me) when I don't like someone. Smalltalk with people who don't really interest me have never been my strong suit. Need to work on that.

The Portugal-issues needs to be solved to. We have more or less decided that we are going to meet and talk it out. Mostly what happened between H and M&J. They can be difficult since they are very very egocentric and I guess H just got enough. The problem escalated due to the carrental. When you agree to be the driver for an entire group you have to do it all the time not only when you want to... And since J is the way he is - never really says what he wants- it's even harder. He depends to much on M to speak for him... Must be hard to live with someone like that.

Maybe H is right: the less emotional attachment the better...I tried that when i was with Sebastian some years ago. Didn't really work then and I don't belive it'll work better now.

So, now I know that people actaually read this page :) Quite nice...
Got an SMS from J with some reactions on what I wrote yesterday... Suppose we both make assumption and are not exactly clear. Some things are missed out in writing. Well, I belive that is cleared up now and we (I) can move on.

Oh speaking of moving on. I have a date on Saturday. We are going furnitureshopping. Kind of an unusual thing to do on a date but it's always nice to try something new. Jonas, the guy, is from SD and seems very nice. He loves design and fashion - good and David Bowie - bad...

Sorry to any DB-fans but he is not really doing it for me.

Well I better get back to work now. Office-cutie, being the total analfixated idiot that he is has, of course, comments on my work. I have to redo an document in Excel - I wrote it in Word....

Good thing I practised yoga and know how to calm myself down. But I know that one of these days I'll give a not-so-nice-piece of my mind....

Take care

Numb

in the face... due to a visit at the dentist this morning.
I think I nearly passed out for a minute there but it eventually worked out.

For Maria's party on Saturday "X-mas i July" I'm supposed to get something redand soft for a guy... Right now I have no idea what to get but I'll take a tour round town after work today and try to find something. Hannah is getting something blue and soft...
It's a really great idea Ithink. I was thinking about throwing a party where the guests had to bring at least 1 person noone else knows...This opens for some really new and exciting introductions I believe.

So, talked to J yesterday on the phone. He called me for some reason, will never understand why...
All this is not about him... it's about the fact that I've had 2 really tough years and once I stop and rest it all catches up with me. I guess I should explain that to him so we can stay friends. In some weird way I think he understands me...
Will see J on Saturday - wonder when he'll tell me about his new girfriend...

Will call A, he is after all a shrink ;), and get some advice on how I shall handle this situation.

Oh, got this guy after me at Spraydate he claims to be rich and "all that" and my "dreamman". Yeah right, if you're not Lenny K - leave :)

Stopped by sis' place yesterday and uplaoded the photos from Portugal. Will try to post some pics here. We are all meeting to talk about what went wrong in the Porto-house. Something has happend to the gang and this is not a positive something. I don't know if it was because Maria came along or what but we need to figure it out so that we can keep meeting and travellin glike we do. Next year (if it'll be a next year) I will lobby for France: a few days in Paris and then somewhere else.

Worked on my 500 -list yesterday. It's quite easy to get the first 2 or 3 but I guess it will be harder as I go along.

Nothing to do today at work and no office-hottie to watch either. Wonder where he is.
Had this dream last night: Martin and I had for some reason to share a hotelroom and he was sleeping on the couch. Woke up in the middle of he night so sure that he was in my apartment... Strange - wonder what it means.

Hmmm, what shall I wear to the party on Saturday??? Need to wear my new fab white shoes - but what else? Have to depend a bit on the weather. Today it's quite cold and rainy actually...

Well, have a nice day and take care

Perfection...

is overrated! After 32 years of trying to live up to the expectation of others I have finally decided that I don't give a shit anymore. I have to make myself happy and not bother with what others think of me.
Can't believe it took me so long. I am not perfect but I can do my best and noone can expect anything more from me, they don't have the right to!

Today I'm starting to write a list of 500 things about myself that I love. Am going to add at least 2 things a day.

I know now for a fact that J and I are no more, unfortunately we are no longer friends...He hurt me too much by not being honest with me. I will miss him but life goes on and I might as well go with it and you'll never know where it takes me :)

I have a lot to be greatful for: my health, great job, great friends and family, lovely apartment and a great sense of fashion ;) and I'm fab!

Do things happen for a reason? I don't know but I hope so. There's been a lot going on in my life lately and now I really know where I can turn for unlimited support and love even when I don't deserve it.
Most people are lucky if they find one soule mate- I am lucky enough to have 3.
They are my luck and my soul and pick me up wherever and whenever I fall.

So, enough of the drama: was out on the town yesterday with office-hottie M looking for a new couch. Wanted to see what he would look like on it since he might end up there some night ;) Then dropped by Åhlens to return the bag I bought since it broke the first time I used it. Very bad but returning it wasn't a problem. Need to pick up another one this weekend. Oh saturday is Maria's X-mas in Summer-party. What shall I wear?? Will definetly wear my new white shoes from Porto but what else?? Hannah and I are going to strutt our stuff there. I hope there will be dancing, haven't gone out dancing in ages...

Well better get back to work now

Back from Portugal

So, I'm back in business... Had a great vacation in Lison and Porto!
We had a new addition to the Gang: M's girlfriend quite the perky type I would say :)
Hannah and I spent most of the time together: shopping and drinking wine before noon.

The first couple of days were spent in Lisbon: shopping and sightseeing. We also took a trip to Sintra, the old castle outside Lisbon. Very beautiful and full of tourists. Mi and I made a quite funny story for the videocam. One night we went to a fadoconsert at the old castle - absolutely fab, totally amazing!
On Saturday we where off to Porto by train, a 3 hour trainride which we spent playing card and yelling: Malfalda at eachother. Why... I'll never know.
The first day at the house was spent by the pool - very hot and I worked on my tan for a bit. Didn't really swim - I'm more the type that strutts my stuff looking hot in a bikini ;)

Next day we took a long drive along the Vinho Verde-route, saw some really nice little towns and wineyards.
Then off to Porto. The others took a guided tour and I went shopping on my own. Picked up a fab pair of shoes, a new suit...very business, John Legend-cd and a very cool designer bag.

Dinner at a french/portugese-restaurant and then back to the villa.

The last day it all came to a small crisis... had quite the blow out with Mi and Jonas about their behaviour, mostly concerning times and the car they were driving. Hopefully we will all meet sometime soon and try to work things out. They won't be joining us next years.... that is if we will go next year. Right now it seems like we won't but never say never...

Listened to Joh Legend alld ay yesterday... god he is so great. How great wouldn't a duet John Legend and Lenny Kravitz be?!?!?! I'd buy the album.. Speaking of wich have to go by some recordstore and pick up the new R Kelly and the new Bodies without Organ cd's today. Or maybe I'll be lazy and get them online...

Aha, the officecutie is wearing the shirt I picked out for him and it makes him look very good. He should however do something about his jeans the are not by far thight enough! I'll work on that ;) I mean if you have a nice booty you must show it off!

So today I'm going to check out a new couch after work. I have seen this ine that I like but I'm not sure - it's quite a big desicion to make. How do you know when it's the right one?!?!

I mean, I have trouble choosing what to wear to work so how can I choose couch and not to mention man?!?! Hannah thinks I should go for A, according to her we are great togehter but I'll see what happens... on the other hand she also thinks M - the office cutie is ment for me. Apparently women have a tendencie to choose a man that reminds them of their father which he does... Oh well, I'll just go with the flow and listen to John Legend while I'm flowing :)

Better get back to work now!

Have a great day!
Love

Not where I should be...

Today is the first day of my vacation and where am I?? In bed - no, having a fab brunch - no!

I am at work! Why?? No one really knows...

Got all my packing done last night anyway. And for once I managed to keep things to a minimun. Will do some serious shopping in Lisbon instead. Hannah and I are hooking up to take the A-train to the airport. Decided which look I'm going for: it's casual city-girl today.
Black skirt and white halterneck..looking very nice.

Took a long lunch with office-cutie yesterday and did some shopping. He looks very nice today in clothes I picked out for him :) Tried to get him to buy a cool hat but he chickened out "not ready" yet. He did however buy a pair of red shoes which look very nice. I stopped by MAC to get a new eyeliner but the colour I wanted was out... Am right now obsessed with silver and blue make up. Today I'm going to the bank to pick up the check for the deposit. Tried to do it yesterday but since I didn't have the address right the woman wouldn't help me. She said she didn't have time... Uuuhhhmmm I believe I am the customer in this case and the customer is always right, right?!?! So I'm goin to another office today to see if the service is better there.

So, tonight I'll be in Lisbon. Portugal and Spain are experiencing the hottest summer in a long time...
Just spoke to my Lisbon-poose and they are fine. It's hot but very nice.

Better get back to work now!

Don't really know when I'll be updating next time but I'll keep you posted on my portugese adventures

Take care

I have worshipped...

in the Electric Church and I am a believer...

Had a wonderful weekend in spite of everything that has been happening lately.

Spent Friday with some of the EC-crowd By The Sea with great food, nice drinks and some champagne.
Went over to sis place on Saturday to fix some stuff with the digitalcamera. Must get myself a computer... well at least after my vacation. Saturday night was then Lenny-night. Sthlm's finest - ie Gonzo and myself- strutted our stuff first over a few glasses of wine at Clarion and the at Hovet. Dancing, singing, and sweating ;) Absolutely fab. Great song list, nice stage set-up and all. And of course Lenny K - the minister of Rock and Roll. Was so happy all night. After the concert we went to Ingrid & Per for some drinks.

Sunday I had my vacation-posse over for some BBQ and Portugal-planning. Mattias' girlfriend Maria might join us in Porto. Wonder what that will be like. She seems very sweet but very sporty. For me, the cocktail-princess, it's quite tiresome. I mean what's wrong with spending a day by the pool with a bottle of wine?!?!

Today I might pick up a new bikini if I can find the energy. It is so warm today so I just want to be out in the sun with a good book and my Ipod.
Should probably start planning my packing for Portugal as I'm leaving on Wednesday. Hmmm, I wonder what I should wear on the plane?!?! Do I want to be the fab citygirl, the business woman or the relaxed vacationer???

Oh, by the way picked up the coolest shoes on Friday. Think pink pinups and flower you'll get the basic idea.
I think I'm gonna take a picture of them and post here...

Ok, time to go now
Take care

Will be meeting up with Gonzo at Clarion to get some food and the of to Hovet to see Lenny
Am so looking forward to this.

Spent the evening yesterday with the EC-crowd. Or at least some of them. Had a very nice evening at Brasserie by the Sea with dinner and quite a few drinks, some interesting conversations and good laughs...

Heading to Portugal on Wednesday with Hannah to meet up the rest of the gang. Will be so great.

Well must be off now. Have a great week end!

My Swedish Day

Today I'll go back to swedish for one day. Sorry about that to all of my international readers (as you are so many ;))
But I got these questions from my fellowbeautyqueen Jessica and I'm going to answer them below:

1. Ungefär hur mycket lägger du på smink/hudvård per månad?

Lite olika.

5. Nämn något som kännetecknar din make-up:

För diskret. Försöker anstränga mig och använda mer färger och sminka mig oftare.

8. Bästa hudvårdsprodukterna?

Make up-bort: MUJI’s face soap
Ansiktstvätt: Lancome self foaming cleanser, Clearasil Total
Ansiktsvatten: IOD/DIOR
Ansiktscreme: Lancome 24H… eller Helena Rubinstein Hydro Urgency

9. Bästa makeup-produkterna?

MAC foundations och puder
Biotherme ögonskuggor
Kanebo 38 degrees mascara
L’Oreals primer

10. Bästa hårprodukterna?

African Pride

11. Bästa kroppsvårdsprodukterna?

Dove bodylotions
Body Shop’s Africa Spa body salt scrub

12. Bästa skönhetsbloggen?
Måste väl säga Jessica och Anna

Nog för nu!

Ha en bra dag

Midsummer is over

for now. And still no internetconnection in the house. Damn, I need to start taking control over my life and just not go with the flow....

The flow got me a very nice sunday with the ex-boyfriend Anders, now just friend :) Lunch at Moderna museet and then a walk around town ending up with coffee in Gamla Stan.

Midsummers eve was spent at the folks place. Had some 20 people over for BBQ - really nice! Made a fab pannacotta with milkchocolate.
Had to leave in quite a rush due to my allergy. Cleo the cat was sleeping with me in my bed and mae my lungs swell so I made a nearly perfect Darth Vadervoice. Got up at 4 and cleaned the kithcen and the a cab home at around 4.30ish.

Did absolutely nothing on Saturday, watched TV, dvd and had some wine...

More flow on Thursday; me and Hannah spent the evening at Metro with J and some of his friend. Made a new 27-year old buddy... He gave me a "compliment" "you're so beutiful in spite of being 32"... oh well, when I was 27, 32 was old... I'm and old fart, fab but still an old fart ;)
Must say Metro was really nice, the rose was great ;) J is as always very nice o me... god!!!

Was late for work today due to the total incompetence of SL. Total stop in the subway - enden up waiting for about 30 mins and then I got sick of waiting and walked in to town. Good thing the sun was shining and I'm wearing comfortable shoes.

As the shopoholic I am: the summers sales start today. Must stop by NK and ZARA today and Mango and HM tomorrow....
Back news: dentist appointment on Thursday - shit!! But my tooth really hurt now and it's best to get it fixed before Portugal. Only 6 days to go now and then off to vacation!
Will be so nice. Having a little gathering at my place on Sunday (laundry day) to make some decisions and watch a fado-dvd.

Well off to lunch now

Take care

Midsummers

Almost time to leave the office now and get ready for the BIG celebrations tomorrow. Wonder why midsummers is such a big deal?!?!
I suggested, as I do every year, that we should celebrate it the oldfashion way ie with bloodsacrifice. Noone seemed interested. Would be a sight to see us dance around a huge fire naked and drunk... ;)

Had J over last night after huge amount of textmessages that almost made me crazy. He knows how to drive me up the walls.
Had dinner at the folks place last night - nice. They are leaving for the northen parts of Sweden today so me and sis are staying at the house for the weekend.

Got a great idea for the officeparty day. It is supposed to rain on Wednesday so we'll be going to a museum and see a robotexhibition and then off to dinner.
Should be nice.

For the party tomorrow it'll be mostly my sisters friend but the a quite nice. Hannah will be there so if things get to bad we'll just go off into the usual cocktailfrenzy and get totally plastered :)

Anyways, time for me to go and get some icecream and then probably off to AW at Metro.

Take care

Gone public

Well, now some people I know now knows about my blogg... not so secret anymore then :)

A quiet day at work, no office cutie to watch. Too bad cause I look especially good today cause of dinner with dad tonight.
Went to the bank during lunch today to pay of my loan. Now that is done I can start spending some serious money. YESSS!!

Saw a couch that I like and I need to update my bathroom. The prevoius owner probably spilled a whole bottle of perfume in the bathroomcupboard so it really stinks.

Will take one day and go to IKEA and do some serious shopping. I just need someone to drive me. One of the disadvantages of not having a drivers license. Might be time to start learning to drive but I can't really be bothered to. Rather spend my money on stuff like shoes and bags and champagne ;)

Went by JUS yesterday and picked up a Xuly Bet, my favourite designer, -dress and a top. Ran into Mattias and his not yet official girlfriend Maria. She is not what I excpected but she seems nice.
Then Gonz o and I went to Buddha Bar for drinks. My god, the service was so bad! Then onto more shopping at the Addidas sale. Found one pair of really nice white running pants... who wears white going out running?!?! Didn't have the heart to buy them so I'll keep looking for new training clothes.

My new white shoes really rock :)

Have to go to Systembolaget today and stock up for Midsummer parties. Wonder why I still feel the need to drink just because it's midsummer. Could be just any Friday but no no. You have to sit outside eat herring and have BBQ in the evening. So predictible but it's nice :) and very swedish.
Today it's raining and cold, not looking good for the week end... I'll be spending it at my parents place looking after Cleo the cat and the house. They have no internetconnection and no cable...

Anyway, better get back to work now

Have a great week end and hope it won't rain to much on your heads. Not good for the hair you know ;)

Working girl...

Well, not that kind of working girl :)

Sunny and crazy warm today. Wish I was outside drinking champagne and checking out hot men... Well you can't have it all.

Got some cool website tips from AnnaT
www.champagnesidorna.se

So, today the annual summer sale at JUS starts so Gonz and I will be there and on Friday it's NK...

No exciting news on the men-front but J is as always no 1... Suppose I have some abuse issues - keeping wanting that which isn't good for me...:) The office-cutie is still oh so cute but oh so bad news. "Don't fuck the company and don't shit where you eat" right?!?!?

Did some shopping yesterday:
nice new shoes at Scorett and a denim skirt from Company's.

So Midsummer is coming up and sis is having a party, she has some BBQ-thing going on.

Met the Ladies of Sällskapet last week. Spent the evening at Brasserie by the Sea and Hilton. Quite a nice evening with some very adult conversations about babies and weddings... I really don't do babies but weddings are usually fab. I'm sure Ali's wedding will be everything she wants and more...

Oh, big family news: Step-bro is a two-times daddy now: Felix (?) turned up on June 5th.

Well, better get back to work now!

Take care

New updates...

haven't updated in a while due to no internetconnection in my house...

So, whats new?!?!

Was out Saturday with Hannah. Dinner at NOX with plenty of champagne and then salsadancing with Martin and Kattis from work. Had a really nice time :)

Lived one week in the new apartment and I really like it. Got the Sex and the City-dvdbox as a present for myself - because I'm worth it you know.
Spent some time shopping too: 2 new bags and some stuff for the apartment.

No news on the J-issue, must have a certain conversation I think. This back and forth is way too much for my nerves. Hannah says go slow but after having slept togehter for almost 1 year I really don't know how much we can slow down.
Gonzo is doing some spying for me re his feelings...

Off to dinner now...

Have a great week and enjoy the sun :)

In the new place

Spent my first night at the new place. It's still quite a mess though but it's getting nicer and nicer.

Hannah and Joachim helped me move in. J is quite the organizer - unexpected but it was good. H and I started discussing clothes and J got this look on his face but he didn't say anything. Once a fashion addict always a fashion addict. Stopped i Nyköping for some pizza and then back to town.

Yesterday was spent with the folks. I only got angry once, so trying to act like an adult around them sometimes I do and sometimes I don't.... In the evening I had new weaves made. If I may say so myself: I really kick ass with this new look ;) Today I did my Hollywood Diva thing. Hair up and big black sunglasses :)

Tonight I'm cleaning up and I also have to make my presentation for school tomorrow. Can't believe it's the last day. We've come a long way and now it's over. God I hope I won't cry... but I don't think so. Got a lot of great stuff going on right now...

Might be seeing J tonight again. Have missed him in some weird way.... No matter what he is a sweet guy but no really the one to count on... or sometime he is... I don't know. Guess I'll never figure him out so I guess that's why he hasn't bored me yet.

H and O broke up, sad cause they are such a perfect match. Maybe they'll hook up again - it has happened before!

Back to cleaning, grocery shopping and writing.

Take care

Movingday today...

So today I'm moving into the new place. Got the old one sold and cleaning out the Nyköping-place.
Finished painting the kitchen - dad will probably have comments about it and the sleeping area in the room...
Have to decide wheather I should go for blue or light yellow ih the hall... Well I'll think about that later.

God, I have been so efficient lately: finished my final paper, painted the apartment and worked full time. Am quite capable when I need to be...

Had some wine and a light dinner with Gonzo (and Hedvig for a short while) last night at Vinoteket. Really nice, good food, like their wineconcept and the staff is really nice too. Gonzo seems to be doing fine. We talked about all the stuff that has been going on lately.
She'll come by the office soon and we'll be ladies who lunch ;)

Joachim and Hannah will be helping me out today with moving and cleaning. I've promised them dinner and wine in exchange for help. So as soon as I'm settled in I'll have them and sis over for dinner with Bollinger '96.
